ok, i'm still shitting my pants after watching this tonight. i hate horror films because i'm the girl who squirms and says "holy shit" aloud in the theater and will think every little sound on the way home is the boogeyman/devil/hell creature.

but this film was high quality. i loved the directing and bits of humor throughout the movie. a major factor to me giving high marks to a movie is if i feel engrossed in the movie - totally there with the characters - and i did with this one. it sucks you in and pukes in your mouth and the pace is perfect. thoroughly enjoyed it, even though it'll be a week before my pulse returns to normal.

i saw The Hangover today - which is atypical behavior for me since i rarely see a movie its opening weekend. anyways, not sure if actually having a hangover was an advantage or disadvantage while watching the movie but i thoroughly enjoyed the film. i would give it 8 out of 10 - i had several laugh attacks and one of the only things i didnt like about the movie was the asian mobster character; very crude, low-brow and not funny. i loved the random ridiculousness of Zach G, the surprising (to me) comedy talent from Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms was great, as expected. i loved how the night was pieced together little by little and that baby absolutely cracked me up the whole time he was on screen. i really liked it - a solid choice for some hearty laughs.
