CCSetting has been updated and works perfect on 9.0.2, on the other hand CCcontrols is crashing the Cydia app . Some older Windows PC and also older Macs won't update to the latest iTunes but you still can update /restore to IOS 9 using the last version for those machines, I did it yesterday on a Windows Vista and a MacBook on OSX 10.7.5 and iTunes 12.2.2.25

Good to know you were successful, I saw about one hour ago that PP has an update to their tool, probably to iron out some issues; just curious, which iTunes version are you running?

Yes you should update to 8.4 which the latest from Apple, for Jailbreak you may use latest Taig tool if using Windows or PP Jailbreak that has a Mac version, you can also buy from Cydia PkgBackup and restore your stuff from there, it worked always for me. IOS 8.4.1 is only available as a beta, so unless you are very familiar with them, is better to stay away from it, Apple is only signing 8.4 currently.

Sorry Slava, I have to disagree with you on this one, unfortunately iCloud lock can be removed , there several unscrupulous outfits that do so, you can find them all over the internet and worldwide, I really hope Apple finds a way to put a stop to this but now it does happen at an expensive price.

Yes, as I recall the same happened to me after the 8.4 jailbreak.

Both Mod's gave you a very clarifying answers to your question and besides it's been very specific since the beginning of this and also prior jailbreaks that you need to restore and not relay on a update for your device. Also yes, Airplane mode does make a difference and yes also you may experience a couple of hiccups before you'll get it right but it''s part of the game.

Best option as posted by MOD :"PkgBackup on Cydia", it's not free but it does the work flawless, I use it often, jut keep the updates at Cydia current.

It's almost done but it has to be adjusted to have Cydia on it and make it work for Windows and Mac, it was on for a few hours but it has been pulled out until is reliable.
