These are my thoughts exactly. If you drive around that area a lot, you know exactly what type of women are walking down 99 late at night. It's an important part to the story, and it shows that prostitutes are often abused, raped, assaulted, taken advantage of by real police, etc., simply because they hold little power and are easy targets. Who knows what the facts are...and I doubt KOMO is going to report anything remotely politically incorrect, so forget this being a teachable moment.

KOMO's reporting on this is entirely superficial. Follow the money trail. Who is really pushing this idea? Who first proposed this idea? Why did they propose this idea? I have a hard time believing that Seattle Parks just came up with this one out of the blue. And I have a hard time being for or against something when it's unclear what the motivations are for this project.

AT&T was the leading company to illegally spy on you during Bush. They basically set a room for the NSA at their SF offices where they split all digital info into a separate system to be analyzed. Basically, AT&T illegally gave the NSA full access to all communications. But don't try to sue AT&T, Congress passed a law giving them immunity from civil lawsuits over it.
