Use this link to view H.J.R. 41 (House Journal Resolution 41). It is an Amendment that would bind the President to the US Dollar and prevent ditching the US Dollar and going to a "Global Currency".

Check the Co-Sponsors, see if your Rep. has supported. Call your Rep. in ANY EVENT,
If they have supported THANK Them. If not, Respectfully ask them to support it.

Thomas Jefferson said - Information is the Currency of Democracy. It's true. For far too long .gov has restricted/withheld, censored, and outright lied about information. We need to be given- accurate, complete information, then our support or opposition and suggestions can be productive.

- End Excessive Liability and Frivolous lawsuits: Excessive liability has eroded much of who we used to be. It has limited free speech and display, dramatically increased the cost of Everything, e.g., medical costs, ALL insurance- leading to higher food/home/rental costs; and led to increased powers of Unions- especially the Teachers Union. Teachers have to join the Union at minimum for the Attorneys for protection against frivolous lawsuits.
- We have not only "Crony Capitalism", as Ron Paul would say. But we have "Bureaucratic- Public Image" Capitalism: It's literally easier to start a business in Hong Kong, with their 10 minute form. In the US we have numerous forms, need licenses, pay this fee that fee. It creates barriers of entry. In my town if I lost my job and tried to sell hot coffee on the street I'd be surrounded by cops, get fined, maybe even lose my stuff, as if I lived in Fascist Italy. Sure they want you to succeed, but in a pretty store front under their guidelines- otherwise go get unemployment.
- Polls. Something needs to be done about polls, Game Theory will show you, and I'm sure there's Empirical Data too, to show that When people see "their candidate" losing in polls, voters don't turn out- seeing their effort/vote futile, which leads to candidates losing before voting begins. Plus, people campaign by polls not their Principles. I'm not saying "ban" polls- but something needs to be done to fix this.

Regards.

"Thus our whole social philosophy will have to be remolded. We Americans are still in the patent medicine period of politics, trusting to political devices on the surface for the cure of any evils that arise. All across the country, like an epidemic of disease has gone the notion --if anything is the matter with us, just pass another law. Thus we are suffering under an ill-considered mass of legislation, while blindly trusting to it to solve all problems. Legislation is no solution for moral evils. It is possible, to some extent, to suppress vice by legislation, but not to create virtue. Virtue can be developed only by conduct and education. You cannot drive men into the kingdom of heaven with the whip of legislation; and if you could, you would so change the atmosphere of the place that one would prefer to take the other road. If our democracy is to survive, we must think it through; carrying it down, from these superficial political devices, into our industry and commerce, still so largely dominated by feudal ideas of the middle age, into our science and art, far more completely into our education, into our social relationship, and beyond all else, into our fundamental attitude of mind. Democracy is, at bottom, not a series of political forms, but a way of life."

- Edward Griggs
Excerpt from "The Soul of Democracy The Philosophy Of The World War In Relation To Human Liberty".

This book and it’s passage here were written in 1908 as World War I re-sculpted governments and ideologies around the world. Fittingly enough, without knowing when it was published, you could mistake it for being written just this year; which makes the passage eerily prophetic, and just as relevant today as it was 100 years ago. But it gets to the heart of the 9-12 Project, Democracy is a way of life. Living and Teaching the Principles is the way to live Democracy.
