when I first read of these pat downs my immediate reaction was "well then, I won't fly". it has occurred to me that is exactly what candidate Obama wanted ..remember his "we can't fly as much, or drive such big cars, or eat so much food" quote? i'm starting to believe these intrusive screenings are not so much about security, but an authoritarian employing regulation under the guise of security to achieve the goal of reducing a ridiculous carbon footprint.
