Big Hollywood : Jon Stewart: Andrew Breitbart 'May Be the Most Honest Person in This Entire Story!'

You are right-on , Carolyn. You explain it so well! I suspected the reason the NAACP AND the White House knee-jerked reacted to "the tape" before they watched the entire tape is because they KNOW what she's capable of saying....because of how she really feels. In the beginning, I actually defended her when I first heard the story...from Fox even! Then when the WH & NAACP retracted & started with this "snookered" stuff....I knew something didn't add up. Once they watched the tape & saw what she'd said (still racist, but for some reason there's a double-standard of what racism toward white people is allowed)--then they (NAACP & WH & Vilsack) came out saying they made a mistake. But it was ONLY after they realized she hadn't said anything that they know she's capable of...and has said in the past. Given how her husband feels, I see it runs in the family. Yes--Ms Sherrod still has a ways to go in her "epiphany". And I don't give her a pass as Jon Stewart does that she is allowed to "hate white people" for the crime & injustice done to her father. "Those" white people are not "all" white people. With THAT kind of thinking....we'd NEVER get past hate of any kind. Does that mean the white person whose loved one has been killed by a black person has the same excuse to hate "all" black people now? No, it doesn't.

Big Government : Breitbart: It’s Not About Shirley Sherrod; It’s About NAACP Attacking Tea Party

I watched the supposedly 'full' video on Utube that NAACP put up. There seems to be a few 'blips' in the video, so I do wonder if they removed some stuff. I didn't sit the full 43 minutes & listen to it, but during the 21 min part there was a blip. Up through the 24 minute part--she starts calling people racist who disagreed with Healthcare. Anyway, I left a very polite comment on the Utube video but I did say I thought she said some offensive things. I've tried several times to add my comment...I get the message 'pending approval' - but have not seen my comment. There's only 7 comments thus far and they all back her up, say she should be reinstanted, & slam Breitbart. Whay hypocrisy.

Big Government : NAACP Blames Fox and Breitbart For The NAACP's Overreaction to Shirley Sherrod Video

Goo has it right. I watched the video....it only shows Ms. Sherrod's continued feelings of prejudice as well as the audience. oh, I believe she's working on it and maybe even better today than 40+ years ago..but she's still full of prejudice against white people..it's very evident. I was prepared to take up for her...but not anymore. I wish her success in a job where she can't practice such bias. OH...and I also left a comment on the website. I was polite but stated my thoughts of her showing prejudice. So far it says the comment is pending approval. I have a feeling it won't be posted...if I have the NAACP pegged correctly.
