Hi I have an iPhone 4 on ios 5.0.1 with the latest jailbreak but not unlocked. I disassembled the phone to change the home button, all went great for 2days. I was using the LED torch and the phone switched itself off and would only come on once plugged in via usb. I seem to been stuck between a jailbreak mode and normal mode. The phone gradually lost functions and will now only boot to the apple logo. When trying to restore I get a 1600 error, I have tried various methods, changed the host file, tried restoring to custom 5.0.1 and stock and even tried downgrading (error 20). All come up with errors mostly 1600. Any suggestions?
