I've had a case for nearly 11 years; an ex who owes nearly 30K in back support and the DA's office only pulls the file when I call to ask about status on my case. My child is fortunate, I have a spouse who loves my child as his own, and both he and I are employed and willing to support our children no matter what. But I know there are folks out there who not as fortunate. And with a DAs like Mr. Overton out there, the system will likely not be improving anytime soon.
