Lack of disipline and lack of respect is what this country seems to be about. From parents down to their kids not all are in this catagory but many are
put a deposit on all bottles glass and plastic like they used to that way the homeless will have a way to get money for their necessities. and kids can earn money like it was back in the day
Whats so sad is the fact that you can't trust grown people to act like an adult and set a good example. Instead they let temptation get in the way and lose the trust of parents and children. Its just a dog gone shame

Freedom of speech only goes as far as Intense Debate will allow someone comments to till someone reports the speech in question... Reading some of these post makes me think that it's children posting and not adults. Geesh people, the person that has done no wrong cast the first stone. If not then build you wall and grow up. One can debate but when it goes to personal attacks thats not a debate. I still read ya'll's post cause it is sometimes comical. and childish
if same gender couples can get have the same rights under the law as married couple and not be married. Then why can't a man and a woman who live together out of marriage get the same rights. Isn't that discrimination.

Alcoa has already closed its plant in Badin putting people out of work. I think the only reason they are still here in Stanly county is to collect money from the lake that they help pollute. You are only allowed to eat a certain number of fish from the lake cause of mercury levels, I think we in Stanly county will do fine without Alcoa. We are still surviving, and will continue to survive..
