They've got to turn violent. They've got no where else to go. What might have been a sincere, if unfocused and misguided attempt to draw attention to the bank and car bailouts for the well-connected were quickly co-opted by the professional left, including unions and communists, seeing the opportunity to take advantage of what appeared to be popular sentiment. Nancy Pelosi's "God bless 'em" and Obama's "You're the reason I ran for president" are the same, until the crap hits the fan and it becomes apparent that the "movement" is the message, rather than articulating a grievance and organizing politically. It'll be an excuse to tear stuff up, which is all a lot of these people want. Obama will suddenly toss 'em under the bus like Rev. Wright. Nancy Pelosi will hold a press conference, hands flapping, bug-eyed, spouting some gibberish that makes no sense.

That's the one. Not so much for his ability, but for his looks. The physical appearance of McMurphy in the "Cuckoo" book, a large, rowdy, red-headed, big, rough hands, fun-loving, backslapping Irishman, plays such a significant part of the character that's absent in the film. It could've been a good movie, and viewers who never read the book don't know what they're missing. I'd read the book in high school, and was disappointed in the treatment in the movie from the get-go.

Finally. FINALLY!!! Someone notices the miserable selection of Jack Nicholson as Randall McMurphy in "Cuckoo's Nest". I always envisioned someone who looked like what's-his-face from the original "Parent Trap" playing the big, red-headed McMurphy. Nicholson was chosen because he'd just broken out of the bad motorcycle movies of the '60s and was popular. Not to mention, brickbats to whoever wrote the screenplay for the movie for leaving out some of the funniest parts. It was like the old rock music biz pre-album rock and FM radio where content was compressed into a defined number of seconds for radio consumption.
For those who never read Kesey's book, you're missing a real treat.

Sadly, the moronic governmental enablers like Quon and Bloomberg will, when forced to detain, punish the perps with "the comfy chair" . . .

Oh noes! Dinnerjacket is on to our "smartpower" machinations! He's figured out all the holds of the tag-team duo "Hussein 'n Hillary".

Behar and Garafolo seem to think that it takes a white woman to tell a black man how to act?

I didn't see the recent anti-semitic endorsement of David Duke on the list . . . which pretty much bookends the span of nutjobs representing the communist left with Ayers to the fascist right with Duke. I guess this is what they envision as being "inclusive" . . .

They're all pining for another McCarthy or Nixon scandal to break, so they make 'em up out of desperation. The recants are usually buried as far back in the paper as possible if they're printed at all. The degree of liberal slant by the writers and editors is alarming. You'd be shocked at how many people are simply unaware of stuff like Fast and Furious as they depend on the local newspaper or alphabet news for their "enlightenment".

The answer is simple: Obama got into his time machine, went to June of this year, found out about F&F, then, over the course of the interview, let the info slip accidentally.

No good? Then how about this: Obama is a prognosticator and "knew" that Holder would assure him that he "didn't know" . . .

Still no dice? Okay. Obama and Holder BOTH knew about fast and furious, but they didn't know whether Issa was talking about the movie or the video game.
