Fractures almost took this direction as well, but had a lot of the pure hardcore brutality In Place Apart had. Anyway, I still don't find it that big of a transition from their previous work. The dilemma for me is that some songs don't make as much of an impact as they could have - "Part IV" and "Black" - while "Blame the Architects" and "Testimony" are the most powerful KIlling The Dream tracks I have heard.
