Wow. Yes, men and women have differences. Absolutely. Generally, men are better at some things, women are better at others. But while this is generally true, it is not always true. There are cases where women can be better at the 'men' things. And there are times when men are better at the 'women' things. Regardless of that, it is because of these differences that women should be in politics. politicians represent us all, so they shuld be made up of all of us. I find it ridiculous and extremely chauvinistic to say that only men should be in control. It is wrong on so many levels. "Men are the hunters, women are the baby rockers." wow. just...wow. Actually, just apply that wjw to most of the post. I also find it funny that you pulled the 'don't disagree with me or you prove my point' defense. Kind of like 'be nice to me or I will tell my mommy that you are a bad kid'. Seriously, if you want to throw an opinion out there like this, then at least me 'man' enough to take the criticism. You sound like a lib with that defense.

Besides the fact that the 'we surround them' is not pitting republican/conservatives against Dems/Libs...its about the people surrounding those in office. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is the feeling I have always gotten...that the people should be represented by those in office, and they are not, therefore we are reminding them that we surround them, and they must listen to us.

I disagree with the statistics...he has 60% approval rating for him personally. Meaning the country doesn't dislike the man himself, for the most part (Bush enjoyed similar ratings this far into his presidency, if I remember right). While approval rating is going down slowly, the undecided number is going down much faster, and the DISapproval rating is rising just as fast. However, the approval ratings for his POLICIES (which is what most people criticize here, unlike Bush where the attacks were personal) are lower.

I would love to see Palin in congress! I think she could do so much more good there. I don't think she is ready for a run for pres--motly because there is a segment of the population that would not stop until they destroyed her. But if she could spend a while in the Senate, maybe, she can show people that she is really a force to be dealt with! I think people would listen to her there.

I honestly feel that the hatred and bitterness completely grew from the idea that he stole the election from Al Gore. As if he were a thief in the night, he went in and messed with the voting somehow. I wish they'd get over it...by the laws of this country, he was elected President. And they can't let that go.

I thought that in the 14th amendment (I think that is the right number) it said that any one born on US soil fell under the jurisdiction of the United states, therefore they are a natural born citizen. But in looking around, I see that there is a bit of ambiguity on exactly how it is defined. I will look more. Still think it would be disastrous for the count, however.
