What is going on is Time Warner trying to pass a bill that would force their municpal competitors like Wilson increase their rates with these additional costs. Imagine if you could get a bill passed that would force your competitors to raise their rates, but not your own business. Talk about crooked.

I guess you didnt see that both Google and Intel came out against this bill. I guess you also didnt see that the bill sponsors themselves apologized for the bill, gutted it themselves, and said it needed to be looked at further. I guess you also missed how the bill would impact fire and police radio networks throughout the state preventing any tax subsidies and requiring networks be run on fee income alone jacking up the prices that volunteer fire departments would have to pay along with EMS and Police. Guess you missed when everyone involved decided this was a bad bill including the sponsors themselves.

Time Warner does have a monopoly and that is the reason they have poor customer service and keep raising my bill. I want another choice and I want lower bills. I also dont want my tv and internet to go out for hours during peak times. I would also like to talk to a human on the phone.
