Obviously you have never lived through this before. Yes, you are "allowed" to leave with your car, but doing it resembles finding a job in Portland currently. You are "allowed" to do it, but in practice, accomplishing it is practically impossible.

Last time I checked, neither of these events ran for over 6 hours. Besides, downtown is clogged with traffic most of the time anyway.

Amen! The next one of these disasters is in my neighborhood. Both streets i can exit my driveway on are closed, and the bloody porta potties are going to be virtually outside my house. And a city park with public rest rooms is 2 blocks away! Why? Do they even talk to the homeowners before they do this? No.

I am tired of having this bicycle hugging crap shoved down my throat. If you want to ride your bike, fine, I don't have a problem with that. Quit trying to force me to do it, and don't close the roads around my house to do it.

Time to fix this backward law. If you don't see it happen, you can't use deadly force of any kind. And for those of you that poison the animal, you are miserable excuses for human beings. What a cowardly way to deal with the problem. I hope someone poisons you when you P#ss them off.

You need to know what you are talking about before you speak. If you lived in this community, you would know we don't all have kids in gangs, and that all the kids that are in gangs don't necessarily come from here. I can tell you that I have had more contact with good, honest people in this neighborhood than I ever did in so called "good areas of the city" when I lived in them. It's people that hold on to these stereotypes that makes it harder to fix the problem. Let's see how long those areas stay crime free once their local police precinct is removed.

It would have been better to have just made the law that they have to ask EVERYONE about their immigration status whenever they were stopped for something. That wouldn't be racist, and would accomplish the same thing. It isn't profiling if you have to ask everyone.

Has your wife ever sought treatment for her mental illness? She should.

I don't have a problem with EVERYONE having to prove their are here legally. I am as white as the last snowfall, and I will carry ID with me and prove I belong here. It's not racist if everyone has to prove it.

Mr. Strubhar, your alleged ability to outthink your wife would only prove she is not as smart as YOU. This says nothing about women in general. It doesn't make me less of a woman to be able to outthink you, it makes me genetically ABLE to.

If we can't ask questions, can we sit in the audience and call out "You LIE!!!"?
