It's all manual, and you have to align a rectangular section in the middle of the frame with the rest of the frame to be in focus. So you're constantly moving to the eyes of a subject or whatever you'll be focusing on, aligning the image, then composing the frame. It takes a while to get used to. And it's definitely not as snappy as the quick and accurate auto-focus we're all too accustomed to. It's an idea that's impossible to implement and unconscionable to propose, in my opinion. I would like immigration reform to increase temporary worker programs, create a reliable forge-proof identity document, register all undocumented workers, and allow a path to citizenship for many in this massive part of our economy, possibly including language and history tests, paying back taxes, background checks, and community service.
