Amen to you I have 2 kids there and 3 more that come to my house after school and they say the same things. By the way I am not sure why you would be sending me a Christmas card tbone, but all of my replies were to NOTOUCH person not you.I do not know what happened ,I am responding to the statements made by NOTOUCH.
no I am not forgetting this little boy. How could any of us. The fact is that the principal NEVER had a meeting with the child ,O'Neal ,and the Dad. He NEVER asked any of the older kids standing thier what happened and lied to the parents about it.I have an 8 year old and if she told me a story I would ask everyone else around what happened. And as to these kids being perfect that is not what I hear from my own kids and the three other Chief Jo kids that come to my daycare.We are mad about is the principal not taking care of our school. He sucks. And it is my goal to have him removed from the once great school Chief Jo used to be.
Yeah I think it will too. people were planning a quite simple protest, and now the principal said that they cannot wear shirts to school to support the teacher and now they are backing out because he sent hom a letter trying to scare them. I am not scared ,and this country was not founded by polite requests and quite sit-down to discuss things. This country was built on blood,sweat, and tears. Fighting for what you believe.
Well I know that a good kid does not tell another adult to shut-up and call them names. I do not have a child in my life either my own,my friends, or family that would have a child that would do that. Children are a product of thier parents. Plain and simple. By the way if you think we are being harsh, you better stay off the Idaho Statesman web site. Now there is some grat stuff.

I f my kid EVER told an adult to shut-up or called them names I would hope if I was not there they would be punished. And when they got home they would want to be wearing padded underwear.
So if a teacher can not touch a child who is supposed to go to time out and wont. What do they do? Call the police? That would turn out GREAT for every one when you get involved. So what next time the kid won't be told to watch out and he can get trampled, glasses broken. bloody nose etc. Then we have a lawsuit.

Gotta say you hit it right on the nose. Nordquist saw this as a way to get rid of O'Neal the "thorn in his backside" He won't make it ! MY new name for Nordquist ia a "pisher" that is him. But lets focus on getting Mr. O back in and then we will take care of the "pisher"!!!!
I agree. I think things have gotta way worse with behavior at the school. Could it be Mrs. Anderson leaving and the new administration , or "no touch" policy, or the lawsuit happy nation we live in?
I am so sorry that a boy has been picked on by other students at the school. I think that what happened is that there were lies involed. The 5th graders that were standing right there were NEVER allowed to give there witness report to the Principal. Then there are all these stories about what happened,anywhere from that the teacher punched him in the head to telling his class to spit on the little boy.
Now I don't know what really went on BUT I do know that I am going to listen to the older kids first and not the younger ones. I am a firm believer in the saying that is takes a village to raise a family?How would I feel if it were mine? Well I will tell you. When my son came home telling me about the story I first heard that he was popped on the mouth. I said if it were mine he should have been popped harder.
I know that thats gonna get quite the response from the "no spanking" parents. But have you ever noticed that the parents who believe this typicaly have unruly children. We all grew up with the "spare the rod spoil the child" and most of us turned out WAY better than our children in society today.
