TechStars Blog : TechStars Model Seed Funding Documents

Great info David. I feel like in the modern world, innovation is stiffened by so many different legal barriers. Opening these documents to the public is going against this trend, and we appreciate it.

Agreed with all the above. In art of the start, Guy K talks about doing something helpful for someone that can in no way help you in return.

Colorado Startups : And it holds for angel investing too

Couldn't agree more. I feel like the startup community is so focused on the economy, but in ways, now is a great time to start a company. When you are a nobody in the startup community, you have to stop worrying about what you can't control and start focusing on what you can control. What you can control is how you respond to your users and how quickly you respond to them. Listen to them as you make iterations of your product, and try to release early and as often as possible.

Colorado Startups : How to pitch Brad Feld

Great find David. I like Brad's candidness and honesty. I think it's important for entrepreneurs to have realistic expectations when meeting with potential investors. If your idea is great there's no need to paint it up.

Colorado Startups : Thoughts on the Co-CEO

Co-CEO? Sounds like a 2-headed beast. I'd never even heard of this concept till recently. Sounds like a nightmare. I know for Swarmforce, its nice having Jason (our CEO) as the final say so. Everybody weighs in, but in the end you know a conclusive decision will be made and we can move forward as a team.

Berberian's Blog : Partner Dynamics and Nuclear Warheads

Paul, excellent post. Todd kept referring to firing Nuclear warheads at the Entrepreneurs Unplugged event, and I was like "what?" For a sec there I thought Lijit was dipping into the arms dealing business. Love this concept. People that think being friends will smooth over any conflict that occurs in a startup are stupid. This a great model to resolve conflict, and maintain respect for one another.
