Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : Buffs get \'Christmas in May\' gift with addition of Holland - Buffzone

I love the in-state recruiting. You can't build your entire team with in state guys, but there are some talented kids that can contribute very nicely. Getting some good pipelines going. It almost seems like Mike Mac has some strategic plans and is seeing them through.

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : Colorado football: Buffs to play in two NFL venues in 2014 - Buffzone

I don't know about counting games, I loved what Mac said that they go into every game with the intention of winning. With that said I say that there are 9 Games that have a potential to be WINS (some more than others) Colo St. UMass ASU Hawaii Cal OSU Ariz Washington Utah

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : Football: Mike MacIntyre not worried about CU Buffs injuries - Buffzone

Slavin, and Wright our big hits. Wright will be needed in the Nickel so lets hope it's not serious. But the WR core is going to be P-Rich, Goodson, and Spruce. the TE, I could see Austin Ray get some time, but they will need Slavin.

I believe Connor will come out the starter, however if Sefo comes in and impresses the coaches to the point that the coaches put him in, then all the better. That being said biggest question mark is o-line. Also have some questions about how the D will shape up.

Ringo sums it up, when he says Powell was one of the few positive story lines last year. He proved to be a back that can really do good things in the Pac 12. Excited to see what he does, can see 1,000 yards easy as well from Christian.

Feels like this season will be a long time coming. Embree Fired, Maybe Butch, then Mac, after one spring and the class he has already put together feeling very good about the future, and a lot better about this season. Bohn Fired, a lot of people confused, then George hired, and a lot of things start looking better. If Embree and Bohn would have remained (agree of disagree) I would have not been excited about this season at all. I was not impressed with any of the progress that was being made, but now I am very excited to see the football product come together, and see how this season can be a great jumping off point for a great future.

This is great news. One thing that Rick can bring, is selling Benson and D, on giving support to athletics. I was listening to some guys that worked with him on the PGA Champions tour stuff. Said that he was great at bringing the players and the business guys together, and get a lot of things accomplished. I know its a long shot, but anyone else smell baseball in the air.

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : Football: CU Buffs\' Dave Forman impressed with freshmen - Buffzone

Well maybe this is the year I get overly optimistic but don't have a huge let down either. I like many others would like to see 3-4 wins and compete. I think that this staff really has what it takes to make it happen. With all the freshman that played last year (some good ones), and with the one's that get experience this year. I think we can realistically see a bowl game next year, and then just see things go up from there. But life is a lot easier with a QB, especially with guy like Hobbs, P-Rich, J-Thomas, and Powell.

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : Football: California linebacker Zach Brown verbally commits to CU Buffs - Buffzone

By the end of it all, a lot of these guys will have more offers. The key will be to keep them once they get offered. I agree with many of the above statements, that these coaches know how to find talent, and find kids that know how to play football. I can easily see Brown, moving to DE, but so far I really like the LB core that has been put together. If this staff is able to get 3 wins and show the ability to compete against some of top schools in the PAC, they will land some 4 star guys, or guys being recruited by other top programs.

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : Afternoon Drive: CU football lands on list of most-improved teams - Buffzone

From what I can gather, from another sites lead articles. They have been interviewing players, funny how this site can't do that. But the players sound like they are working harder and smarter than they ever have before. Players talk like they understand the system, and feel more physically prepared. This is the bad time of year when I get way to optimistic

Throws the ball with authority. He had good highlights of short timing throws. Not just a ton of bombs down the field like some QB highlights are. So a top in-state kids, LB from Texas and QB from Cal. I like where this is going

Wow, I really try not to give you attention, like a 2 year old throwing a fit. But do you need a job or friends, why post here, what is the point? We don't play you, we aren't in the same conf. anymore, I just don't get it. Will I always hate Nebraska? Yeah.. but I don't care what you all do... go on Iowa or Michigan's sites. You must be in Colorado, so you must realize that even as a die hard Buff, I still divide my time between the Buffs, with Broncos, Nuggets, Avs, even AF. Go do something, it's pretty sad. Oh and I have yet to see you post football jargon, so, you first, as we all act like middle school girls

This is one of those articles where I say, "neat" in a very sarcastic sort of way. OK, yeah, this is a misleading stat and projection, but if anything it is a good thing that the only guy we are really counting on from last year in Powell, which I have little to no concerns that he will produce this year. I hate to rag on kids, but I'm glad Webb is not coming back, I'm glad that guys like Nelson and McCulloch are not the potential go to guys. Because we have legit D-1 talent like Richardson, Thomas and Goodson as the guys that will be counted on. Plus Hobbs will be back and make a difference. I honestly have some concerns about the QB spot but feel like they are going to be put in a better system to have success whoever they are, and the O-Line is in the same spot. My biggest concerns comes in the D, with lots of hope, but a lot of unknowns

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : Football: CU Buffs\' Mike MacIntyre likes depth at quarterback - Buffzone

The recruiting sites are biased by what parents sign their kids up and pay, and by the All-Star games they are working and who signs up. Example (not sure if it's right) ESPN recruiting site has all the guys at the Under Armour game as the top talent, you sign with the big 10 or sec must make you a top recruit automatically giving you more stars. I agree that the best way is to see where else kids have offers from. Any 3 star and up has a good chance of turning into something. 2 star and lower bit of a reach but can develop or surprise.
