Breitbart.com : Corzine\'s total tally for his 3 campaigns: $131M

so, let's get this straight. Corzine was a whore how paid $131M (or so...). Mary Landreiu was a whore for $300M (purportedly). Sounds like there are a lot of souls on the market and most all of them are going to be Democrats....In the Senate. How much is Harry Reid going to have to pay in order to buy his soul back......even in a small state like Nevada where for $50K you can buy a weeks worth of TV ads.

sidburgess.com : One of the Worst Examples of Wasteful Spending

At least we don't have evidence that the Oklahoma Endowment for the Arts is holding conference calls with the White House to conspire to overthrow the Oklahoma government via propaganda financed by that 1.5% in construction funds. (note: we don't have evidence....yet). I'm pretty sure the roads out in Woodward could use that extra cash....

Big Government : ACORN = RICO

Now, how often does the FBI end up handing a case THEY started and executed DOWN to an state Attorney General and not over to it's logical place - the US Attorneys Office in Las Vegas (where RICO cases are filed - Federal Court). Well, it's isn't often. Even though the Las Vegas FBI office is very small (Vegas has lots of other LEO including a huge US Marshalls office), surely they would like to actually help prosecute the people they were the lead in arresting and investigating. But after some lengthy negogiations, the case was droppped down to the State level and a party loyalists (Democrat Party, of course) is 'leading' the prosecution. No shock that nearly a year after the evidence was seized that there is no real progress. And being in State Court, there is absolutely no possible way that this case will connect with the Corruption, Fraud or Election Violation cases in Ohio, Missouri, Lousiana, California, Colorado, etc, etc, etc, etc. Keeping the 'prosecution' at a local level avoids bringing in the head of the snake while it seeks to carve off the smallest part of the tail (if even that is necessary).

Big Government : ACORN = RICO

IN NEVADA - DEM AG KEEPS PROSECUTION 'LOCAL' TO AVOID RICO. The newly elected Democrat Attorney General (first one since 1994 in Nevada) probably got some help from Harry Reid to ensure that SHE got to 'prosecute' those ACORN grifters in Las Vegas who had the FBI raid their offices prior to the 2008 elections after ACORN turned in tens of thousands of bogus voter registration cards.

If it weren't MY television, I would have thrown a shoe throw it when I saw that gag-me-with-a-spoon commercial with that acting-free liberal douchebag. OMG, could he have been any LESS empathetic? He's a freaking actor, for chrissakes! I did call the 800# though. They were less than thrilled to know that the polar bears were actually INCREASING and that I granted them permission to all go home since their job had already been done for them by the same global warming which they were supposedly fighting. To say that the people answering the phones were clueless bots would be an understatement.... but then, so it Noah Wylie. But Noah does read whatever script you put in front of him like a good actor should.

It's so hard to reconcile religion and science (so they keep telling us) but this time it's the lefties and their Global Warming religion which they can't seem to reconcile with actual science.
Breitbart.com : Oil down to around $61 ahead of OPEC meeting

No point in ever wishing for affordable oil again since it appears that there are enough socialist crazies in our government to prevent the US from even producing our own energy (of which we would be one of the top 5 producers of oil and top 3 producers of natural gas if we simply allowed exploration). When you fill up your tank, just remember that there is an entire political structure here in America who wants it to be sooo expensive that you simply stop driving your car. Every PSA you see on television is about 'global warming' or some other eco-nonsense. The propaganda is so pervasive that our energy policy in America is permanently damaged and we are destined to be screwed by foreigners who despise us and our own politicians who have no respect for our opinions. Nobody in America votes for $4 or $5 gas yet we have a WH and Congress who believe that these kind of high prices are exactly what America needs to 'save' us.

Breitbart.com : Powell fires back in debate over GOP\'s future

How do you 'lead' when you've told your own troops to follow the guy leading the enemy? Would Powell have run the Gulf War by telling our Army that the suddenly decided that Saddam wasn't such a bad guy and that he thinks they should support Saddam? Or could you imagine Powell telling American troops that Schwarzkopf wasn't the kind of general that he liked and they should follow one of Saddams generals who 'better reflected the values of America'? Powell seems to be oblivious to the nonsensical position he is in. But the media loves it so as long as Powell doesn't appear on any program where he will be challenged then he can keep doing this until 2012. That would be kinda wierd wouldn't it? And then after that he came back to the troops and told them that they lacked the proper leadership even through he was a General in their own Army? Maybe Powell needs to go back to the War College and re-study the part about leading by example and how NOT to demoralize your own side (if he actually cared about that kind of thing).

Sounds like Obama is going to continue the Bush policy on North Korea: Talk disapprovingly and then threaten more talking when NK tests another round of missiles or nukes. Boy, I'm feeling safer already since Obama called them 'reckless'. Is the word 'reckless' more or less serious in diplo-speak than 'dangerous' or 'irresponsible'.
Breitbart.com : 7 Pa. ACORN workers facing voter-form charges

Incredibly kind of the Democrat Party District Attorney there to not presume that all these criminals working at one place were not being either asked or ordered to commit those crimes. Normally, if you get seven employees independently committing the same crime you would think 'criminal organization'. Right? That is the huge benefit of only operating in larger metropolitan areas where you have Democrat City Councils and Democrat Party District Attorneys. Even in Nevada, the only reason the Democrat Party Attorney General filed charges against ACORN employees AND the ACORN Office as a company was that the FBI was the one who conducted the raids and they were going to be charging ACORN in essentially a RICO case unless the Nevada AG wanted to take the leaad and do the work herself - which she did. And, miraculously, we get our very first criminal charge against ACORN itself and not just the criminal flunkies who get hired as day laborers there. But even that was the best case scenario since the FBI would have been pushing for a Federal RICO case which could have ensnared the entire ACORN network nationwide for doing the EXACT SAME THING IN EVERY SINGLE BATTLEGROUND STATE IN 2004 and 2008.
