Ok guys i've had a nightmare of a few days with my Jailbrake, lots of my apps keep crashing and i can't send MMS Messages :-( the problem went further than this, i restored back to an official 4.0.1 which when i test my MMS Messages they work again thankfully but the minute i restore my backup it stops it sending again :-( there's something saved in the backup that is preventing my MMS from working because once i restore back everything works again. I now have lost my Pics, Notes, Saved Games etc. Does anybody know what has gone wrong with my backups and how i can either fix them or the MMS issue i'm having when jailbroken.

Jailbreak worked a treat on my iphone 4 with ios4.0.1 but the latest version of Skype which worked GREAT before with multitasking now doesn't multitask, i did read this happened with earlier jailbreaks on my 3G S but decided to try anyway but still the same issue. Is there anything in Cydia to fix this problem as yet?

Tonight i connected my Unlocked iPhone 3G S to iTunes so i could add more songs which i have been doing for over a week now but to be stopped by the following message "The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported. Only compatible SIM cards from a supported Carrier may be used to activate iPhone. Please insert the SIM card that came with your iPhone or visit a supported Carrier's store to receive a replacement SIM card." Any ideas what has happened or how i can get round this? Many Thanks

yes i agree the battery life is extremely poor, without using my phone the battery drops extremely quickly, i've turned on battery percentage so i can see :) i bought a mophie juice pack and it runs out totally and starts going into the iPhone battery itself in about 11-12 hours approx, sometimes quicker depending on how much usage the phone has got.

mine can be hit or miss, when i try and get my location when at home it is approx half a mile to 1 mile out, it can depend how long u let maps stay open for i noticed, sometimes it has to do a bit more searching :) other times it locks on perfectly in very little time.

I absolutely love my unlocked iPhone 3G S. Ultrasn0w 0.8 worked a treat, I'm using backgrounder to keep Skype open even when home button pressed. Looking forward to being able to download the software that allows Skype to run on 3G instead of wifi, the apps aren't compatible just yet as seems to be the issue with quite a few of the apps since firmware 3.0 was released but I'm sure these wonderful developers will rectify these problems as soon as possible.
