I agree 100% with your comment. I must add that State and Federal regulations mandate the types and amounts of food that can be served in schools or the district will not receive State and Federal reimbursements. Foods that cannot be sold include candy, soda, foods of miinimal nutritional value, etc.; however, on the other hand, the State and Federal gov't permits these items to be purchased with food stamps!!!!!
