KATU - Portland, OR : Senate passes sweetened $700 billion market bailout | KATU.com - Portland, Oregon | News

Ignorance is bliss. Bail out the companies who helped put us in this mess. Allow those high level executives to keep their high paying jobs, fancy cars and nice big homes. Glad we could help. All the while the middle class citizens are losing homes by the wayside. And then they raise the FDIC limits. Boy that helps me out with my banking needs. Now my account can hold that $250k. Seriously when is this country going to quit bailing out and comforting these corporations who do more wrong than good. This countries financial decisions are ridiculous. Glad the taxpayers are bailing out the big corporations.

I really hate worthless losers who prey on elderly people. These people leave the most pathetic life. I wish there was better security measures for elderly people so they would not consistently get taken advantage of.

KATU - Portland, OR : Ore. police department told to shoot coyotes | KATU.com - Portland, Oregon | News

This is a surprising discussion in so many ways. All the people who are against shooting the animals have valid comments. But do you all have children? What would you do if your child was the one being chased. Most people dont think about not running when confronted by an animal that is not your run of the mill neighborhood pet. I personnally think control in a surburban area is needed because all it will take is a child actually get hurt by an attack and something worse would occur from a state agency. Look at what happens when a neighborhood pet attacks someone, it usually results in the animal being put down. I think removing the animals without harm should be the 1st choice because I personally live in Sherwood and I would not want to hear gunshots from police due to an animal.
