Wow you have an even worse score than I do which means I respect you. But it's not the flu that was the problem, it was the pneumonia that came as a secondary infection once you're weekend by the flu. That's the real scare..the two together kills 1 out of t0. . That's what happened in 1918 and that's really what they worry about today. So yeah the flu shot keeps you from getting the primary infection that leads to the secondary one and that's why it's valualbe.
