Big Government : Bold Leadership Versus Political Parasites

I haven't read the book so I don't know what he did. From the text of the blog post, it sounds like he made financial decisions based upon what he knew was happening in the congress and benefited from it. If he voted for something that was contrary to his publicly stated position and had a financial stake in that decision, then he's no better than a democrat. If, on the other hand, he made a financial decision because he could see the way the winds were blowing, and if his actions were legal, I say reform the system, but he hasn't done anything wrong. If the latter case holds true, it seems we have much bigger fish to fry.

Breitbart.tv : Romney, Perry At Each Other's Throats Over Health Care, Immigration

I wish one (or both) of them would have explained why having uninsured children is not a big deal. Instead, they accepted the retarded premise that every child needs insurance. They should have schooled Anderson 180 (who I take to be a functional idiot) in some economics and risk management.

Big Hollywood : Hollywood Screenwriter Famous For Enjoying Drugs Angry at Palin for Enjoying the Hunt

Rush Limbaugh got addicted to prescription pain killers due to a bad back. Sorkin's just a hypocritical, left wing POS; nothing more than a narcissistic, over-privileged kook. There's a huge difference beween the two. Limbaugh = human; Sorkin = cultural equivalent of a colon polyp. Also, the animals Palin hunts are not "defenseless." They all have their natural defenses. Frankly, I'd like to see you and Sorkin in the wild with them. I'd laugh myself silly watching you two kooks cursing Sarah Palin while the "defenseless" animal throws you around like a rag doll.

Big Government : Undercover Census Fraud Investigation - New Jersey

I wish you would have stuck with it longer. A 70 min lunch break and overpaying you 4 hrs for 2 days work is not going to get many people riled up. If you would have stuck with it, you could have had a great deal more material. For a while, Michelle Malkin was posting letters from census workers that showed that the project was filled with gross incompetence, waste, fraud, and abuse. It would have been great to get more of that stuff on tape.

Breitbart.com : Author writing about Palin moves next door to her

Palin's use of the expression is perfectly fitting with the way it used in everyday speech--it's called a colloquialism--and it's use is not a mark of intelligence (or lack thereof. It's an indication that she's part of the culture. Given your apparent insistence on original intent to determine the meaning of an author's words, however, perhaps you can explain how the 1st amendment to the constitution can possibly mean the current leftist dogma of freedom FROM religion in the public square rather than freedom OF religion (as it plainly says); how the 2nd amendment does not really grant people the right to bear arms, and how the 14th amendment gives a woman a right to hire an assassinate her unborn child. Given that it's clear that no contemporary liberal dogma has anything to do with the original intent of the authors, would you also conclude that the architects of liberal dogma are also uneducated and stupid? If not, are they smart but consistently wrong? Or are they just garden variety evil?

Breitbart.com : Susan Boyle success helps Cowell amass a fortune

I don't resent his fortune in the least--good for him. I do wish, however, Idol Gives Back would focus more on people like Cowell giving away tens of millions of dollars to their "save the children" fund rather than begging for everyone else to give their money. I read a story about Cowell and Obama having lunch so that Cowell would hit up Obama to give some US taxpayer money to Cowell's charity. It would be better for the super rich to put their money where their mouth is and donate huge sums of money.

Breitbart.com : Swiss warn UBS bank could collapse

As I understand this, 1. Prez Urkel and his goons believe that Americans are engaging in tax fraud via UBS, though they have no evidence that that is the case. 2. They believe this tax fraud is substantially different than that committed by his Sec. of the Treasury, Charlie Rangel, Chris Dodd, Tom Daschel, and other democrats and members of his administration. 3. As a result, he has worked out a deal with the Swiss Gov't, forcing UBS to hand over the banking records of 4500 US citizens so that he can search for supposed tax fraud. 4. The Swiss courts have said the deal violates their constitution (or whatever they use as a founding document), and therefore the bank does not have to submit to Prez Urkel's thuggish, economic terrorism. 5. As a strong-arm tactic, Prez Urkel has threatened to close down UBS in the US, knowing this would force a bank collapse. 6. The Swiss gov't official is wringing her hands b/c she believes the Swiss should "pay" for protection by throwing UBS's US clients under the bus, not realizing that this would make Swiss banking no different than any other type of banking. In short, Prez Urkel has declared war on US citizens and the Swiss while he continues to pander to, make excuses for, and fight for the "rights" of islamic terrorists. What if the jihadis could be charged with tax fraud? Would that finally convince this kooky administration to fight them? Why doesn't Urkel just go after those account holders for whom there is credible evidence that they've engaged in wrongdoing? Better yet, why doesn't he put Geithner, Rangel, Daschel, Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Schumer, Frank, Corzine, Franken, Landreau, Nelson, Waters, Lee, Boxer, and the rest of his party in jail. They're all a bunch of crooks--every one of them. The ONLY thing I like about all of this is that I KNOW with absolute certainty that if there are tax cheats at UBS, the vast majority will be major contributors to the Democrat Party. Having said that, given how corrupt this administration is, I have no doubt they'll find a way to cover up the crimes of their biggest donors. As Urkel would say, they'll do "a little sumpin' sumpin'" for their friends--just like the did for ACORN, SEIU, & Goldman Sachs.

Big Hollywood : 'Lie to Me' Lies to Me

This biggest problem with Lie To Me is that it's stupid. It's based upon the deception research of Paul Ekman, which isn't bad, but anyone who believes is demonstrates unequivocal non-verbal cues of deception has been deceived. The whole show is pure kookery. I watched one episode and immediately thought of gullible hollywood writers who read Telling Lies and were intrigued, but since they never took a statistics class they never understood how weak the correlations were that the research is based upon. The same goes for that "body language expert" that O'Reilly occasionally has on his show. It's insulting.
