I had this problem with the original 3.0 FW, lot's of the apps where not working even before jailbraking it and those apps where from app store

but did it worked with u fine with the jailbroken 3.0?

this is what happened with me, I installed 3.0 firmware yesterday on my 3G officially unlocked and it was fine, I used PwnageTool_3.0 and created the Custom ispw and restored my iPhone with it by iTunes 8.2, what happened next is the iTunes started to recognize the iphone after the restore is done and the iphone is restarting, something happened next, itunes gave me a message says "itunes store is not available at the moment try again later" after that my iphone is stuck in the apple logo doing nothing but restarting every 5 minutes, iTunes do not recognize it at all, and I cant put it in DFU mode, or do nothing with it, only pressing home and power to force it to switch off and when i power it on again same thing happen, stuck in the logo screen doing nothing!!!

Any help????
