The truth is I was miserable for most of that time, it was interfering with my work, I was making my loved ones miserable, and there was absolutely no good reason for me to keep feeling like that. I am so grateful that I did it, I&#039;m grateful for all the support I&#039;ve received. (Jesus-y toast stuff follows) Thanks to something Nicole posted that sent me down a rabbit hole, I&#039;ve recently started to look at my meds as a gift from God (I&#039;m a Catholic), rather than a manifestation of my failure. Being grateful rather than angry has actually made me more conscientious about my message and my mental state.
