What is wrong with Socialized Medicine you ask. Let me give you an example from personal experience. I am in the U.S. Air Force and shortly after returning from Iraq in January '08 I was playing basketball with my son and rolled my ankle severely. After I went to the emergency room (where they told me they believed it was broken) I went home with just an air cast and crutches. As per normal procedures I then had to call on Monday (two days later as this was a Saturday) to get an appointment at our on base clinic. I then spent 3 weeks waiting for the next available appointment. Now imagine the lines that will form as Millions of people start clogging doctors offices. The English have Socialized dental care, and most hate it. Our U.S. Military has a smaller form on Socialized health care and trust me the service could be better. Oh, not to mention that tiny issue called higher taxes.
