You seem to forget when he bowled last over and won fo Windies. Where wer you???
Could somebody cite for me the Disiplinary charges that Gayle has been brought up on in his career.I am an avid fan of cricket and i cannot remember one instant. I think that the present coach does too much talking. Do not forget that he reported Kemar Roach to the board and now he scrambling for a play. When West Indies were world champions we had no coach only a trainer in Dennis Waight.Doyou think that a coach should tell a seasoned player how to bat.It seems that people only like yes men.Gayle Merits a play based on performance and with no disiplinary action against him or no pending charges. When Gayle was sacked as captain he gave 333 signs of commitment. I cannot blame him for not being a yes man and i hope he never will be.
I wil switct to basket ball Michael Jordan was drafted in 1984 and was playing excellent basketball but was unable to win a championship until 1991 when he actually got a supporting cast. Cricket too is a team sport and therefore Gayle ,Chanderpaul and Sarwan must have a supporting cast to win cricket matches. All of the named players are averaging around forty. In order to be successful the mix must be right are you forgeting that Gayle just made his second triple century in our last test series. Please check his stats. This is not about personalities ,it is about West Indies Cricket. The board and the selectors do not play the cricket. If the administration of the cricket is not good what do you expect on the field from the cricketers. There is a saying that if the head is bad then the whole body is bad.
