I would just like to make a comment: Dylan has not replaced anyone. Dylan has been around from the start, acting as the go-between person for Knickerbocker and DIY. He did a great job last year, and having had the experience, DIY thought he would be a great asset to help Knickerbocker through the process. No one has been replaced, and Dylan continues to do a fantastic job as his role managing all of the different aspects of this project. He and Victoria are here for another month to help with filming and the transition to move from building to television.

The only moose I've seen was at 2am on the crest of the Waldoboro hill. Scariest thing I've ever seen crossing the road. Luckily I was driving slow enough to not hit it. A friend died in high school from a car accident with one. Not something you want to see on the road.

It's really for kids only, and more like a large bunk bed - lots of blankets and pillows and maybe a dvd player. Nothing big and fancy, and not really for adults!

What we are voting on for Good Housekeeping is the Guest Suite area, the room to the far left of the house. I think it's now one big room. And there looks like there is a door to that 'wing' of the house, which would have one bath, the "bunk room" and the guest suite.

The "bonus room" is the Mega Dens. In there you get to decide paint color, collar tie stain color, and fan - and it's also closely tied to the library/office/hobby room.

I meant I don't think they'd rig the votes. If they did, I wouldn't think they would let the green siding win, particularly with the amount of negative votes online! Yes, it's an old house - but old houses can be revamped - and with the previous layout, it looked cramped and broken up.

As for the existing structure - yes, they might have taken down interior walls, but as for the exterior, it's pretty much all still there. And the foundation is pretty decent.

Sadly I think that was forgotten when the green siding was chosen too :( Aside from the fact that you can never paint that, either, as it voids the warranty, and is a b* to paint.

The bonus room is what will be Mega Dens (ie, that big empty space on old plans - the family room on the proposed plans). It will contain the collar tie stain, the room color and the fan. The office/hobby room is right next door, and pretty much a part of the mega dens room.

Good Housekeeping will get the entire guest suite, which is now one large room (I think), and that is the vote on the Lodge versus Floral, versus whatever the last one was. The guest 'wing' I guess you could call it encompasses everything to the right of the stairs, and is blocked off from Mega Dens by a door. That way you could put an entire guest family (bunk room, bath, guest suite room) up there, and they wouldn't be bothered.
