Though I stand by my statement, soldiers are not paid enough for the job that they do. Second, your pay scale was lower because you are older and there have been cost of living adjustments since then. It works out to about $9.37 as an E4 AT 40 hours a week. WE ALL know that those in the service work 10-12 hr days in garrison, 5-6 days a week. At war, it is 24/7. How is that fair pay? I'm sorry, but it's not, that's WELL below minimum wage.
