Second, Native Americans have always had the greatest respect for horses. I highly doubt that the "Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs" would bow to traditions unbecoming them. Third, a strong bi-partisan Congress banned USDA inspectors from inspecting horse meat in the US in 2006 -- no doubt because of the medications that horses ingest (illegal in ALL food animals) but legal in horses as they are classified as non-food animals.
