Big Journalism : The HomoCon Tipping Point: Why CPAC Was a Milestone Weekend for Gays

I attended CPAC this year. I am a student- the crowd was mostly students cheering during his rant on the "acceptance" of GOP Proud. Other students who cheered must be influenced by the liberal agenda of professors in college ( Oh and MTV and Bravo). The fact that the student even brought the subject surprised the audience. The student had a huge ego trip-Alex McCobin- trying to move is agenda. I was deeply disappointed for the GOP Proud appearance at the conference. It was clearly an attempt by the moderate Republicans to dictate the views of the entire party. Rarely anyone visited the table. If anyone walked through the exhibit, one could her the disdain from the attendees. Not only that, the positioning of GOP proud was near the "pro-marriage" and "pro-marriage between a man and a women" booth. Before we know it, CPAC will be labeled RPAC ( Republican Conservative Action Conference). Further, having GOP proud appear might make sense. Anne Coulter told them off during her speech. She is my hero. At least someone did it. Hopefully, they won't make an appearance next year. Ryan Sorba was also a hero. He is the future of the party. Standing up for the values of the Conservative agenda
