these companies were doing just fine without forcing employees to give up thanksgiving because they had to be at work between 9-11 pm that night. And here is a little black friday secret. No one is making any profit. Most major retailers are running negative profit margins. So, they are forcing people to give up quality time with their families all in the name of loosing money just so they can tell Wall Street that they sold a bunch of stuff.
