We grow food and we are fortunate enough to have fruit trees and grapes. I think it is great when kids learn that grapes grow on vines they don't come from the grocery store LOL

I found your through Supermom’s Friend Finding Fridays.
I have always loved birds and when my kids were small we always had bird feeders and the kids would log in a note book the birds that came to visit. They got really good at recognizing them. http://www.blessedelements.com/goinggreen/?p=2022

I agree with you and I buy books a lot and I give them as gifts.
This year I had to spend more time hunting for a book for my 11 year old grandson because the ones I came across was more oriented for girls.
