we could go on and on here with things he said but never intended on doing... accept public financing, filibuster FISA, opt out of NAFTA, stop wasteful spending, withdraw from Iraq by the end of 2009, give public five days to review a bill before he signs it, .....

You make a good point about how he wants the economy to appear fine in order to pass Cap and Trade that would hurt the economy.

He wanted to pass a bogus stimulus and cried about "Crisis" non-stop

It is terrible that what this administration and Democratic Machine puts out has nothing to do with reality except to smooth over their next political move... Everything is spin with these guys

Are fundamentals of the economy sound as Christine Romer said on Mar 15th? So the stimulus wasn't needed? Now all we have are political pay offs that will hamper the economy with more debt.

It is clear that Obama, Pelosi, and Reid were pushing the stimulus and budget before more evidence of the economy stabilizing came out..

We just had a democrat candidate who was largely unknown beat a very well known republican for the presidency. So we all know the power of the democrat machine.

Conservatism is taking a beating but that doesn't mean it is wrong. It may take a while but good to win out and they could be even more defeats in 2010 but, one day conservatism and its uplifting message will be back.
