Aren't they always accusing the right of using fear and hatred? A hack job if I've ever seen one. The good news is, they've been trying to do this for over a year and it hasn't been working. Now they're forced to show scenes of huge tea party protests they formerly scrapped, and they're not sure how to handle it. They're trying to marginalize tea partiers and make them look fringy, but polls show the plurality of Americans support the Tea Party over the two political parties. The left is losing power, and they're running scared. Not long now before their demise.

My goodness if people were this serious about not offending Christians no one would take God's name in vain even once. Evil is real people. Get used to it. If you don't stand up and fight against it, what right have you to pretend that your values are any better than those of a terrorist?

Can you imagine what would have happened if one of them had said; excuse me, I have the constitutional right to film this, you're going to have to handcuff me - and started walking past the cop. It was all being filmed so the cops couldn't be very violent. They would have to arrest him in front of tons of cameras and it would be a huge issue all over the news the next day. That guy would have instant fame and a big boost to his journalist career.

I wonder if the all white line up at NBC will ever realize that the Tea Party is not racist? It's kind of hard to argue racism with all the black tea partiers screaming that its not. I doubt they'll ever get it, but if they did it would be a huge turning point because then they would have to report on the actual issues in the TEA party movement.

No I am not related, I just happen to agree with the majority of state chairs that Steele has been good for the party. Traditionally, the GOP has been financed by rich business types, which has not helped in recruiting activists. If you look at donations to the GOP, they are increasingly small donors. This is good for the party because it engages more people as activists and sends the message that the party serves the American people and not rich white good-ole-boys. Note that Obama won with lots of small donors, it does not necessarily mean a loss of money. I did not call you racist, only ASKED if you were because you did not seem to have any good reason for wanting him gone. Racism actually does still exist, despite the claims of the left that electing Obama would end it.

You people, as in you Steele haters. Steele is an extraordinary leader, and very much a part of the new conservative movement. For goodness' sakes, he said that if he weren't chairman he would be out there with the TEA party. Steele did not choose the candidate in New York, what was he supposed to do, go against the Republican party of which he was chair? Duh, of course there was more money before. Steele actually used it to win the necessary races to give the party credibility so it could raise more cash going into the midterms, rather than hoarding it like the previous greedy establishment types in charge of the party.
