James, Why do you say there isn't going to be a "so called" rapture? I agree with you that things are going to get worse and worse, but I do not agree that there will not be a "rapture" or "catching away", as Paul speaks about in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. Can you tell me what verses you base your opinion on? Also, are you saying that christians are going to go through the tribulation?

Nicole, with all due respect - I agree wholeheartedly that the sin of homosexulaity is wrong and is an abomination to God, but name calling will never win anyone to the Lord. An example? Yes, ME. I had people praying for me for 15 years. The didn't aprove of my lifestyle in any way shape or form, but they did let me know they loved me and were praying that the Holy Spirit would open my heart to what I was doing was very very wrong. I have now come out of that life and I thank God for people who didn't call me names, but prayed for me and never stopped.____I understand it is difficult to maintain this loving stance when there are so many radical homosexuals, but I still don't believe that we should go down to their level and call them names. We should rise above that - we are different - we have the Lord on our side now.____Just my opinion.

You are absolutely right - there is NO tolerance for people who believe, live and support the truth of scripture.

However, if you are a someone who believes along the lines of Joel Osteen you will have no problem...because he agrees with everyone to please everyone.

I agree with Gramma from Canada - very good article. I am experiencing firsthand what happens if you disagree with someone regarding any type of immorality at all. Furthermore, if you tell them the reason you disagree is because of your christian beliefs, you are labeled a hatemonger. We are no longer able to have an opinion unless it agrees with the new morality. Unfortunately, its only going to get worse.

As I mentioned above to Maranatha Mark, if you ARE a christian, you won't miss the rapture. You either ARE or you AREN'T. I understand that we don't know men's hearts, only God does, but it still remains that if you ARE a christian, you will not miss the rapture.

You are right - a huge number of people in our nation SAY they are christian when in fact, they have no idea what a christian is. If you don't believe the bible is the word of God, how can you be saved? So, it brings me back to if you don't even believe the true gospel, that Jesus died on the cross, rose again after 3 days, it is a gift from God, not by works, and REPENT (people always seem to forget that), you can't be saved. People who "thought" they were saved, but were not, will enter the tribulation, but people who truly believed and accepted God's gift and repented, will be raptured. We may not know who this is, but God does.

I absolutely agree with you on Joel Osteen. I get so angry when I hear people talk about what a GREAT pastor he is. He will lead so many people to hell with his anecdotes and wishy washing stand on "only one way".

As for Terr's comment - it is explained below, but i still don't agree. I understand what you said, but then it should be said that people who "thought" they were christians miss the rapture, not christians. If you are a christian you won't miss the rapture. But, I understand you giving the benefit of the doubt.

Huh? what is an overcoming christian? You either ARE a christian or are not. If you aren't - you won't be in the rapture.

2) Terr also said the following: Who will witness against the anti-christ and cause the wound to his head of deceit? The christians who miss the rapture and know he is an impostor many will cry loud against him.

The christians who MISS the rapture? WHAT? Again, if you are truly born again, you will not miss the rapture - so I don't know where you get that christians miss the rapture.

Please explain.
