<description>The police report tells only the officer&amp;#039;s side of the story. Dr. Gates has told a different story. No doubt the truth lies in the middle.  Bottom line: A 58-year-old white man who walks with a cane and is inside his own, upscale home would not treated like some common house burglar. I don&amp;#039;t blame him for being pissed off. And being pissed off is not a crime in this country -- at least not yet.   </description>
