Breitbart.com : Delta eyes American Airlines bid

Delta acquiring American Airlines would be fine with me. I'd much prefer to be on a Delta flight anyway. If they merged code share flights with American's partners that would be even better. I could get airline miles on routes that I had previously not been able to with more carriers. Not counting on it though. I'd bet this gets shot down by regulators.

I agree that I hope it's a record never broken. I just wish they'd quit pulling a Barry Bonds by getting juiced up and tacking some more on to the record.

Apparently your handle isn't just a creative name. Turns out that we were the ones that had it wrong. The transliteration incorrectly spelled the city's name "Nanking" when in fact it is more accurately Nanjing, or Nan-ching, depending on whether you use the Wade-Giles transliteration or Pinyin. Guess a little research would be too much to expect to prevent yourself from looking like an idiot.

Breitbart.com : Obama: If you love me, pass my jobs bill

Oh. My. Goodness. Do we really have a president pleading for people to love him? I'm reminded of the scene in Bruce Almighty where Jennifer Aniston's character is fed up with Jim Carrey and Carrey's character is pleading for her to "love me!!!" I'm also reminded of how Jesus asked Peter, "Do you love me?" Peter replied, "Yes, Lord." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep." Is this another Obama deification attempt? Obama: Do you love me? Adoring masses: Yes, we do. Obama: Pass my bill.

I understand your concern, and I can see why you would feel that way. However, terrorists are trying not to be obvious. They're trying to blend in.

It wasn't an international flight. No need for a passport. I'm betting most of the passengers on the flight didn't carry a passport. If you read the article you would note that it originated in San Diego and stopped in Denver en route to Detroit. Technically California is still a part of the United States, and Colorado definitely is. No passport required to board an aircraft. There's also nothing to indicate that any of the passengers were foreigners, so a U.S. or state-issued ID is sufficient. You don't fly much, do you?

Right. Never, under any circumstances say anything that might be remotely insulting to those in authority, lest they demonstrate the lack of a thick skin by arresting you because they can't just let it roll off. Glad you're such a tolerant person though. Perhaps we should put you in charge.

Breitbart.com : Charlie Sheen show sputters in Motor City

The last thing I saw Charlie Sheen in was Hot Shots Part Deux. At least back then he was funny. Now he's just wasting our time. No way I'd pay to watch this mess. It reminds me too much of watching the current presidential administration -- a free fall into a bottomless pit that sucks in anyone close to it. Charlie, just because you have one person's money doesn't mean you'll get more money from more people when the shows fizzle out. Before you make comments like that to your audience you'd better be sure you have the power to stick for the long haul.

Problem is, then the airlines suffer even more and the fed will bail them out repeatedly, essentially nationalizing them. I respect your position and I generally have an 8 hour limit on how far I'll drive before I fly. I must fly periodically but I agree that there's no reason for anyone to be grabbing men's crotches or women's breasts because we have an aversion to irradiating ourselves to get on a flight. There are better ways to do this and the fed doesn't want to hear it.
