The USA want to torture and KILL assange. The top politicans there have said publicly that he should be killed. They also want to execute Bradley Manning.

The UK cannot extradite people to countries where the DEATH PENALTY is in force. Sweden can do this.

And the "Rape" laws in Sweden are different. Basically, all Sweden are saying is that Assange had consensual sex and the "condom broke". This is the charge. ... And actually he has not been charged. Its a rouse to get him to Sweden, so that USA can pull out the rendition papers. And then torture him alongside Bradley Manning... Who the UN by the way say has been tortured.
