What does this law do or require that is in conflict with the federal immigration law? Anyone that drives is required to provide a state issued drivers license if pulled over for an infraction. A legal resident is required to have their residency card with them at all times(green card). No proof of residency, no excuse. Not sure on AZ. law but Indiana requires you to have a state issued ID for voting, etc this includes the Amish in order for them to get the tags for their buggys. From what I read they have to have someother reason to check someone. such as speeding, ran a stoplite. alarm bells ringing and them running the other direction etc.
