this truly is a tragedy for all involved , but there have been at least 4 killings in that county related to domestic violence through the years, it is time for law officials to move into the present century and stop living in the dark ages. People who commit crimes of violence need strict punishment and the message from starke counties law makers should be to let everyone know it will not be tolerated, just as porter county has done. The laws of the land should be inforced and not just for a certain few, but for everyone. Thats why not even a lawyer from out of county wants to come into starke county, because starke county seems to have thier own set of laws. Time for voters in that county to take a hard look at their elected officials and where they stand on these issues. Don't vote for a person who abuses his own family members and has no regard for the law himself, become more informed before you vote next election.
