This is very disturbing. I have friends who are desperately trying to adopt a baby with no luck. They already adopted a little girl and have been trying to adopt another baby for some time now. They are a loving family that would do anything to have another baby, but unfortunately they are unable to conceive. Why do these women abandon their babies when there are so many families out there that could provide a warm, loving home to these babies. Why?
Whatever happened to objective reporting, Amy Roe? This article could not have been more subjective. If you have a problem with costco don't take it out on them by writing this one-sided article. Just don't shop there and let the rest of us enjoy the savings costco brings to hundreds of families in the northwest.
All of you bashing those who are complaining about the increased noise levels are missng the point - the port said one thing and now they are doing something completely different. Yes, all of us living close to the airport knew about the noise associated with that, however, we were told that the third runway would be used sporadically, where in fact, it is used all the time, every day. Got it?
I have noticed the same thing in Burien - significant increase in rat sightings due to all the construction going on in the area. Keep your crawl spaces locked and don't leave any food outside.
