And during the Big Ten season, Iowa is the lowest scoring team at 57 a game. Purdue leads at 70 but a good team and similar program, Wisconsin, is averaging 63. Iowa's lack of scoring has hurt them but they aren't far away from being a competitive program. I just don't buy the stereotype that Iowa can't recruit kids to make a winning program. They won't score 80 points a game, but they can and will be a winning program under Lickliter. And I don't buy the criticism that he came from Butler, a midmajor, so he can't be successful in the Big Ten. Where do people think Bo Ryan and Painter and Crean came from?
