Props to the commish for doing something about it in the instance of the near decapitation of Rodgers. I've talked with OSU coaches across 3 sports and they said that other coaches in the conference and across the country, pretty much all agree that the Pac-10 has the worst officials in the country. It's one thing to miss calls, but when they're blowing the calls on replay as consistently as they do too, it's unbelievable. Not sure enough one-sided bad calls occurred to change the outcome of the game, but I read in an LA publication there was an illegal block on the punt return for a TD too. I dunno, I'm just tired of more and more good games being marred by crappy work by the officials.
