Wait -- I'm thinking . . .
Major Cook has served in the Army for 21 years, 4 of those on active duty. He has seen combat both in Desert Storm and in Iraq. He is ready, willing and able to go to Afghanastan IF the President is legit. I believe one should think twice before calling him a coward. He is fighting a whole different kind of battle right now and its affects on his life are not pretty. He needs our encouragement and support.
Does he use Chicago goons to enforce his wishes? Strikes me that some "offers that you can't refuse" must be in use. Never saw a President appear to threaten Congress before - beg and plead, yea, but threaten?
For starters his election as the 60th Democrat makes me nauseous. However, in spite of the wasted time with the Perry Mason comments, he almost had my respect with his attempt to get her to say that she would support our freedom of speech on the internet. The latest rumor is that Obama intends to shut-down all of our web communications using the fact that we are "terrorists" and the ability to plan together needs to be curtailed. Not sure of the truth behind that one, but seems logical. Still at least Franken appeared to be supporting our right to communicate using this medium.
Slavery was abolished by the ratification of the 13th Amendment in December of 1865 - at least 144 years ago. The people living today whether black or white were not hurt nor helped by the practice. If the living today has been affected at all, it is by being given the opportunity to be citizens of the greatest country in the world and to have rights that would not have been allowed to them under any other government. The sad fact is that the liberals have convinced the majority of the black men/women that they are the victims and are being held down by the abusive white ex-slave owners. It is time to realize that no matter the color, we are all citizens of the US and that we need to work together to protect our Constitution and the rights that it endows. Right now we are all victims of the spendthrift Congress that is trying to turn us into a third world country with a socialist government.

1) The Health Care Reform Bill - it is the same bill in both houses, so can be passed quickly;
2) The Hate Crimes Bill that is being tacked onto the Defense bill;
3) The Cap and Trade Bill; and now
4) The Disarming American Citizens Act (HR 2159)
The last one allows the attorney general (who is an anti-gun zealot) the power to strip you of your right to bear arms for something as simple as a pro-gun sticker on your car. Worse, the bill allows Holder to withhold evidence in the event of a court case, and demands that the courts rely on Holder’s personally “redacted” versions of whatever evidence he claims to have. You know that we all have already been labeled terrorists, so guess who will lose their rights?
All the more reason to determine if Obama really qualifies as President!
Be glad that they did not vote. Appears that to pass the Hate Crimes Bill, it is being attached as an amendment to the defense bill. Don't allow them to sneak this through. Call your senators.
The news is great that the case will finally get a hearing! My concern is that her pleadings only mention in passing the fact that to be "natural born" a person must be born to two American citizen parents. If the birth certificate turns out to prove that Obama was born in the US, then the simple fact that his father was not a citizen is our best proof that he should not be holding office. I believe that her pleadings should be amended to strengthen this area of her argument.
