I have very mixed feelings about that whole period, it didn’t end on a good note but I made a lot of friends and even met a few of the bloggers in person. I remember teaching blogger “Wyomie” to quilt and blogger SandyLA and her husband came to visit me twice. You sent me hazelnuts from your home state, and I became fast friends with a few bloggers in Tennessee, Florida, and Utah. But for the HGTV blog, those things would not have ever happened and I would’ve been deprived of a huge comfort and friendship over a difficult time of my life. Blogger cebe46 and I are good friends and have even taught her to quilt, too. It’s really a small world, so many lovely people out there! Hokiemom reached out to me with words of heartfelt advice. I saved all those posts, sometimes when it’s a hard time, I read them and am so grateful for all these friends.
