Big Government : House Passes PelosiCare

You're right. The Stupak amendment was nothing more than 'plausible deniablility' for their Dem counterparts. Not one Republican should have allowed that hollow schill of an amendment to pass.

They keep using Medicare and Social Security as models of success, they've pulled the Kennedy card and have named all of the special interest groups (all set to make out big) supporting this crap. The contradictions and sleazy manuevers they're using are epic.

Big Government : Historic PelosiCare Debate Starts Right Now

The vote to read the bill on the floor was done at 1:00 A.M. last night. It was voted down by the Democrat majority. Right now the Speaker is circumventing procedure to allow a stall by the Democrats and to shut out any Republican objection. There is nothing resembling the representation of the American people being played out on the Senate floor today.

Time to brace ourselves for the biggest hissy fit ever seen out of the White House and from the progressive minority. The Conservative roar of passion yesterday is far more powerful than the progressive power push.

Big Government : Pelosi Health Care Bill: The Worst Bill Ever

Republican sponsored health care reform bills, you know, the one's that Pelosi-Reid-Obama and the lying progressives claim don't exist: H.R. 77, H.R 109, H.R.198, H.R. 270, H.R.321, H.R. 464, H.R. 502, H.R.544, H.R. 917, H.R. 1086, H.R. 1118, H.R.1441, H.R. 1458, H.R.1468, H.R.1658, H.R. 1891, H.R.2520, H.R.2607, H.R.2692, H.R.2784, H.R.2785, H.R.2787, H.R.3141, H.R.3217, H.R.3218, H.R.3356, H.R.3372, H.R.3400, H.R.3438, H.R.3454, H.R.3478. Not all of these bills are great, but several of them focus on tort reform and opening interstate commerce for insurance, and they do it in far less than 2,000 pages.

Big Government : Tricks, Treats, and Boondoggles

Whether or not the majority of the people actually do believe the lies is questionable. A majority of those who voted during the last election believed in the hope hoax at that time. It's @ 49% in polls right now. There was also a lot of voter fraud (ahh, compliments ACORN) in the last general election. Let's not confuse poorly informed majority with the real majority, those who are not real happy about being lied to for their votes.

Arctic ice has decreased by 7% since 1980, Antarctic ice has INcreased by 43% since 1980. CO (carbon monoxide) is emitted as a by-product of burning petroleum based fuels. CO2 (carbon dioxide) is emitted as a by-product of burning oxygen (also known as breathing). CO2 is necessary in the production of oxygen. NASA has stated that data used to show dramatic climate changes were false as the equipment used to obtain the data was defective. Still waiting to see hard, scientific proof of man-made climate change. Everything that is being passed as scientific proof to this point has been discredited with sound and concrete data showing otherwise. Oh please, climate change advocates, give an argument that isn't funded by a corporation set to profit from your hyped-up 'crisis' you call 'man-made climate change'.

We live in a representative republic, as outlined in the Constitution, not a democracy. The last 8 years were far from being conservative rule. The signing of a treaty requires a majority approval of the Senate, if a President signs a treaty without first getting that approval then he has indeed committed treason, as outlined in the Founding Documents. Tax cuts do not cost a thing. Cutting taxes results in higher revenues and tax raises result in lower revenues, as proven historically. The American people were duped when Obama represented himself as something he was not, he lied numerous times and it is proven in his own words and actions. An adult would actually do research, have a definitive knowledge of the sources he uses and refrain from name calling when he has a weak argument.

That whole not getting paid thing defies all socialist logic. Why would anyone do something the government doesn't tell them to, especially with no special 'perks'. These are the people that profess altruism, but demand undeserved payment.

Don't forget what a knock-down job the suddenly-socialist Japanese government did to Japan's once thriving economy. Oh yeah, that government intervention caused the Lost Decade. How many failures do socialists require before they get it? Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. The United States was a brilliant move to do something different, which brought positive results until the crazy socialists interrupted it.

Big Government : Tea Party Dilemma: Honey, I Shrunk the Party

It is absolutely maddening how the blame for Clinton's win is continuously blamed on Perot. Perot did not cause the Republicans to lose the election, the GOP did. If the GOP had run a candidate that was more reflective of the American people then there would not have been a Perot factor. It should not be forgotten that Perot ran as an Independent because the GOP refused to back him in his initial bid AS A REPUBLICAN. The vote was split because of the two party generated 'support the party' mentallity. If you insist on continuing to blame Perot for Clinton's Presidency then you should also blame the Green Party for W. Bush.
