This is getting to be tiresome, kid. "RBB" should be all capitals; that "I" should be "me" since it is the object of a preposition (you do know what a preposition is, don't you?); and the verb "show" must agree with the subject, "response" and should be "shows" instead. Like I said, way too easy!

While we're making needed corrections here, it's probably more complicated than you ought to be tackling, but that really should be "detract" and not "distract." Your sentence isn't in any sense metaphorical, and evidence, which is not animate, cannot be distracted. Again, the correct choice would have been "detract."

Actually, my preference would be that we stay out of it, and let the Palestinians and the Israelis settle their disputes among themselves. If the past is any indication, I think the democratic, free-market oriented Israelis can pretty much take care of themselves in a fight, and there is no indication that 30 years of interference by the US has had any measurable effect on the prospects for a ME peace.
