We all knew it's gonna happen sooner or later with velveeta. Such a betrayal. I grew up listening to the stories from my family about the promises US made to our forest resistance. It was if not this Christmas , then we will be this Easter, sorry we couldn't make it, but on Christmas Eve tor sure. And we still believed it. Ukrainians should have never trusted the US and never signed the Budapest Memorandum. What is finally gonna break the society??? This country is not what it says it is. Zanzi, please rethink it before you start cooking. I know it's a hassle to drive but it would make the holidays different. Take it from a person who didn't have a proper Christmas Eve since we moved to LV. For Lithuanians who were the last European country to be baptized the Christmas Eve is still the main holiday, we have special foods, special traditions, etc. etc. I miss it very much to be with people who understand it.I usually cook, it's just me and the dogs most of the time, and it's sad.
